A graduate of Rice University in Texas, Alison’s experience has included risk management consulting, movie and television production support, and over 15 years working with accounting and payroll systems. Now an empty-nester with two young adult daughters, Alison enjoys RV travel with her husband.
Allison McFarland, CPA
Onboarding Specialist
Allison has over 20 years of industry experience, primarily with small, entrepreneurial organizations that need her extensive experience in process improvement and exceptional organizational skills. She has an MBA and a Master’s Degree in Technology Management, both from the University of Maryland.
Cathy Constantine
Accountant
Cathy has over 10 years of HR experience with the government including time with Merit Systems Protection Board and Dept of Justice. She has a Bachelor’s in Business from Gettysburg College and has been at BBG for 7 years working with DCAA clients. She enjoys time with family and loves hockey.
Chan Zhu, CPA
Manager
Chan is a Certified Public Accountant with 15 plus years of experience as a diversified accounting professional in multiple functional of a public accounting firm.
Chantell Miranda
Accountant
Chantell graduated from the University of Utah with a BA in Accounting, and brings experience not only from working for the U.S. Government while living overseas, but also has extensive experience in money management operations. Chantell is a proud mother of two.
Cindy Roth
Payroll Accountant
Cindy Roth is a Payroll Accountant and joined Bay Business Group in 2024. She has extensive experience in payroll and bookkeeping. She works locally in our Falls Church office.
Darcy Gagne
Manager
Darcy has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of MD and has worked as an accountant for 9 years. She has experience as an assistant controller and in-house accountant. In her free time she enjoys reading, stitching and playing with her grandchildren.
Daria Perez
Accountant
Daria graduated from Salisbury University in 2017 and lived in Ocean City, MD for 13 years. She has over 7 years of experience in bookkeeping. She lives in Puerto Rico with her husband. She loves to travel, baking, and go to Escape Rooms.
Founder
David is a seasoned professional with over 25 years’ experience serving clients large and small. David started his CPA career assisting small- and medium-sized businesses. Today, he serves clients that require and recognize the benefits of close attention from an experienced professional.
Denise Nisbett
Accountant
Denise joined Bay Business Group in 2012 and has over 20 years of accounting experience. Her background is in tax, non-profit and DCAA accounting. She earned her B.A. from the University of Toledo in Ohio, where she currently resides.
Drew Selby
Accountant
Drew is an Accountant. She currently lives in Ohio with her family. She has a BS in Accounting and has worked in the field of accounting for 3 years. In her free time she loves painting, drawing and writing.
Erin O’Flaherty, CPA
Manager
Erin graduated from Virginia Tech with a double major in Finance and Accounting. Erin has a background in government auditing and joined BBG in 2024. She works locally in our Falls Church office.
Franziska Jupiter, CPA
Manager
Franziska is a native of Germany. She joined Bay Business Group as a CPA Manager in 2017, after stops at Lufthansa Group as well as a Mid-Atlantic account CPA firm. Our clients are fortunate that she brings extensive tax experience to BBG.
Guia Wallace
Accountant
Guia brings more than 20 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience to her clients at Bay Business Group. With a degree from the School of Foreign Service, International Economics, from Georgetown University, Guia can track down the smallest accounting entry to balance her clients’ books.

Jackie joined Bay Business Group in 2008 with experience in payroll and accounts receivable and is one of our accountants. Accounting is the perfect occupation for Jackie since she is very detail oriented and gets tremendous satisfaction when the debits and credits balance!
Jamie Townsend, CPA
Manager
Jamie grew up in the Northern Virginia area and graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from George Mason University. She brings a dedicated focus and discipline to her clients, helping them maintain compliance with the ever-changing rules and regulations of the IRS.
Office Manager / Bookkeeper
Jennifer cares deeply about our clients and believes they are best served if the office is running as smoothly as possible. She is organized, focused on customer service and likes being part of the BBG team. Jennifer loves to travel and has lived in Bulgaria, Austria, El Salvador and Slovakia.
Jorden Bradbury
Accountant
Jorden brings a few years of industry experience coupled with a fresh perspective from recently graduating with her bachelor’s degree in accounting. When she is not diving into financial statements, you can find her enjoying moments outdoors, or spending time with family and friends.

Julie has more than 25 years experience in strategic planning, and research, along with vendor management in the fields of HR, marketing and media. Her free time is spent sailing on the Chesapeake Bay with her husband and son.
Karen Herbert
Accountant
Karen received her B.A in Finance from Catholic University and earned her M.B.A at George Washington University. Prior to joining Bay Business Group in 2011, most of her work experience was spent in Financial and Systems analyst positions.

Before joining Bay Business Group in 2021, her prior work experience was spent in Financial Management positions with specialties in both team leadership, communication, and conflict resolution. She is an accompanist who both teaches piano and performs in Northern Virginia.

Kerry has a BS in Insurance & Risk Management from Indiana State University. While living in Hawaii, Kerry turned a volunteer position into a job as a bookkeeper on Pearl Harbor. Kerry loves BBG where she puts her diverse life and work experiences to work to providing clients excellent service.
Kim Doyle, EA
Director of Government Contractors
Kim has more than 20 years of active financial management experience. She joined Bay Business Group in 2011. Prior to joining Bay Business Group, she served as the manager of a local credit union. Before that, she managed the $5 million Conservation Policy Program for the World Wildlife Fund.
Laura Fisher
Wealth Management Specialist
Laura joined Bay Business Group as a Bookkeeping Specialist, but realized her true calling is in the financial planning field and moved to BBG Financial Planning as a Wealth Management Assistant.
Leah Jones, CPA
Manager
Leah has 20+ years of experience in financial, forensic and M&A accounting. She has a B.S. in Human and Organizational Design from Vanderbilt University and a Masters in Business with a concentration in Accounting from San Francisco State University. She lives with her husband and two teenagers.

Leslie directed the daily operations of three different retail bank branches, developed a variety of training programs for bank associates in multiple states, and supervised the merger and acquisition of banking centers throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

Lisa has spent more than 15 years in the financial services field, working within the investment community and with senior management. Lisa earned her B.S.B.A in Finance and Marketing, Cum Laude, from the University of Richmond and her M.B.A from George Mason University.

Accountant
Loretta, an opera singer turned accountant, joined the BBG team in 2023. Known for her strong work ethic, tenacity, and resourcefulness, she seamlessly transitioned from the stage to the world of numbers. Outside of work, Loretta is a busy mom of four fun young children.

Matthew is a CPA with over 10 years of experience supporting clients on accounting, financial, and strategic issues. Matthew supports the Bay Business team and ensures that they have the necessary resources and tools to best serve our clients.
CEO
Michael has over 10 years of public accounting experience. He has an MBA from the University of Chicago and previously founded a non-profit focused on sustainability. When he’s not crunching numbers, you’ll find him biking on the Mt. Vernon trail or chasing his kids around Alexandria.
Rebecca Divietro

Originally from England, Rebecca has a Bachelors in Accounting and over 6 years of experience working in the Finance and Accounting field. In her free time she enjoys traveling and loves spending time with her family.
Taylor Herb
Accountant
Based in NC, Taylor brings 5 years of corporate accounting experience and a bubbly personality to the team. She has a strong customer service background and a knack for solving financial problems. Outside of work she enjoys live music with good friends.

Tina is a highly motivated accounting professional with over 17 years experience. Her specialties include DCAA compliant accounting, non-profits and small business services. She is highly proficient with both Unanet and QuickBooks accounting software platforms. Tina enjoys family time & gardening.

Virginia has a BA in Business (Accounting concentration) from Carroll College and a Master’s in Financial Analysis from Portland State. She comes to BBG with 7 years of public accounting experience in a variety of industries. She enjoys trying new restaurants and going on trips with her husband.
