Continuing Our Veterans’ Legacy
- This organization needed help with their accounting to be DCAA compliant which would allow them to bid for government contracts.
- They wanted a robust finance/accounting solution that would offer improved, streamlined services. Also, there was no formal monthly financial process, which limited operational decision making significantly.
- Took on a comprehensive finance role including invoicing, banking and credit card reconciliations and monthly financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Set up of financial infrastructure for the finance/accounting function and worked to ensure the structure of operations would go smoothly.
- Set up accounting to be DCAA compliant which allowed them to win multi-year government contract worth ~$6M/year.
- Provided assistance on recompete for government contract, which was won by our client, allowing for revenue growth from $1.5 million in 2012 to $11.2 million in 2022.
